Comfort First

After my shoe frenzy, I've slowly realized I'm much better off collecting shoes I can wear on a daily basis (primarily to work) rather than shoes that are pure eye candy. I've returned a few of my pumps and have opted for flats. (you can click on the images to purchase)

Melissa Rubber Peep Toes (My friend has a pair and swears by it for walking)

Sam Edelman Snakeskin Flats (more suitable for narrow feet)

Jeffrey Campbell Woven Flats (tried them on and bought a pair in black. super comfy. and might i mention make your feet look cute and dainty. looks a tad bit like the bottega veneta flats but better looking and more suited for the average buyer in terms of price)

And some bad news

For some.

Lipstick jungle has officially been canceled :(. So sad.

I was going to post about sectionals, but could not find enough good pictures. Instead, I'm going to share a pair of new shoes I purchased. It's true. A girl can never have enough shoes. Although I don't know how people walk in heels all the time. How does one deal with the pain?

Some lipstick goes a long way

In a previous post (Uno) I mentioned that I absolutely LOVE Victory Ford's style. For those of you who don't know who I'm talking about, its a character on Lipstick Jungle. (Yes, my fictional fashion idol) Since I am new to blogging and having a little too much fun with it, I wanted to share some looks that I "die" (thanks Rachel Zoe) every time I see.







Accessories add a lot. Okay. Maybe she is just beautiful, and her hair & makeup people rock.

Never enough shoes

There is a weekend Nine West shoe sale at 6pm (select styles for 19.99). Item I am eyeing. Yay or Nay?


My thoughts: Love the floral detail on the sole & chunky heel. Perfect for the spring with skinny jeans or a spring dress.

Back to the basics

Three posts in one day? Wow. Beginner blogger on a rolllll. I've been addicted/infatuated with basic tanks. Oversized/layered tanks. Goes with everything. Cardigans, blazers, by itself... You can find them at Forever 21 & American Apparel. (I'm lucky I can dress casual at work. Makes for a more budget friendly wardrobe. Especially important during these economic times.)
