hello people 501 is BACK! for now. what does it take to resurrect a brand that has become irrelevant over the years? perhaps a partnership with the luxe club monaco. we'll see where this takes them...
fabulous lighting solution. illumination creates a warm fuzzy feel... shape is chic and minimalistic. all around lighting eye candy (toto cube lamp via dwr.com)
i saw this on a co-worker's fb photo album. and instantly fell in love with this photo. slightly stalkerish but i absolutely love this girl's outfit. from the sunglasses to the red skirt. there is something interesting about this picture...
is this Flos Spun floor lamp designed by Alexander Wrong really worth the $1,740 price tag? The simplicity of this is perfect for a modern/contemporary home, but who would pay this much? Ikea has a spin off but its just not the same.
florals are IN. wonder how I know...take a peak below. they are EVERYWHERE, slightly overwhelming :) what do you think? i might've chosen some pretty bad examples...even my mother says some of these should not be on my blog. ha.hilar.

although i like minimalistic spaces, in part b/c i'm forced to due to gene's taste, I also find this room to be quite appealing and livable. maybe it's the neutral colors in the entire space? what do you think? slightly too cluttered? the painting is a bit off but that fire place is quite lovely. and look at those colors on the book shelf!
it might seem like i have an odd obsession with prada and miu miu but i swear i don't. i do love the handles, color and structure- not too stiff by not too slouchy
What's in your bag? mine looks nothing like this....
Cute Pencey ruffle top. Love the details. Would probably look more feminine paired with a pair of skinny jeans.. (via shopbop)
Another Leather Jacket installment. Vince jacket via shop bop. spotted someone wearing something similar for a chic work outfit. it goes with everything.
finding the perfect artwork for any living space is a definite challenge. inspired by simplicity... i've been almost gravitating towards simple pieces like the graphic type treatment below. (something I can probably make myself or find on etsy), or solid canvas pieces, lacquered pieces are quite unique as well.
I've been a bit busier at work lately so have not been able to update much. I'm moving into a new apartment and have been occupied with ideas on how to decorate and furnish the new pad! To paint or not to paint? What color to paint? It is quite difficult to put together a dream place with a limited budget. Current inspiration..Rachel Zoe's pad. 2 years ago i thought the style was a little odd when LC rocked them on the Hills (just like the rompers. but now i <3 how these these little ray bans look. got some ralph lauren knock-offs today!
2 for 2. another shop bop look book that i snagged off the site [shopbop.com]. i love this look..the juxtaposition does it all. and wow look at those shoes. seems rather dramatic though.
I've been dying for a leather jacket but have not found the perfect one within my price range. any suggestions?
I <3 Trenches! I've always enjoyed clicking through the shopbop look book. What do you think of these unique looks I found there? They are definitely combos I would never think of putting together, but they come together quite well.
Thanks to Kylie at Bandelle Blog, I checked out the Conde Nast Store online. Interesting Vogue covers from back in the day (1920's...30's..40's) are for sale as art. You like? Art and fashion back then were almost more trendy and modern...is that possible? What do you think?
Marley and Me arrived via Netflix this weekend. It was cute, sad, etc, and filled with montages. Of course, aside from the story, I noticed Jennifer Aniston's wardrobe. I found her outfit below to be particularly interesting. Romper-like dress. I had been window shopping earlier in the day, and found a couple of dresses at bebe with somewhat similar looks. What do you think of this new trend?
Loving this very affordable dress...but it is sold out online :( Don't you love the color/pattern? It's fun and is loose in the abdominal area! Could be flattering. [39.50 @ Lulus.com]
